2010 Management Seminar Series (MSS) Presents:

Moving Up:
Nuts and Bolts of NIH Leadership

The Management Seminar Series (MSS) provides an opportunity for administrative and scientific staff to obtain or further strengthen management skills through discussions and presentations addressing core management issues and NIH-related matters.

The audience includes nominated professional administrative staff at the GS-5 through GS-12 levels, NIH Management Interns, Presidential Management Fellows, Emerging Leaders, and Administrative Fellows.

The format for the January-June MSS includes lecture, discussion and group exercises. Participants will be asked to complete an evaluation at the conclusion of each session.

All seminars will take place in Bldg 10, Lipsett Amphitheater. Each of the six monthly sessions is approximately three hours long, from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm. All interested parties must register though the NIHITS System following nomination from their IC’s to participate.
